• Departure from the « Carrefour de la Tour », accessible from the D73.

• There is a car park. Take the GR that goes alongside the « Etang de la Tour » towards the village. You join the D 73 on your left and follow it for about 50 metres

• Turn left onto the « Chemin des Forges », and turn left again onto the « Chemin des Clos »; enjoy the view over the end of the lake. You are then at the flood gate. Leave it behind and take the PNR. Cross Rambouillet’s road, go straight. You are then on the aqueduct of Vieille-Eglise ; after the first bridge, the aqueduct turns into a small channel. Turn right at the second bridge and discover Coiqueterie farm. Take the D73, and follow it towards the centre of the village.

• As you walk down the D73, take the path that is after the « Clos Saint-François » (a small gate stopping cars from entering), go past the « Maison Communale » and at the end turn left onto the road to Auffargis.

• At the crossroads, turn right back onto the PNR, follow it, turning right again. At the next crossroads, go straight; you then get to the « Poteau des Hogues » (a post). Turn right, and the path takes you to the “Carrefour des Hogues », and the “Carrefour du Pavillon”.

• Go back to the forest house in the « Etang de la Tour », go over the dyke and follow the GR which takes you to the « Etang d’Or » in Rambouillet.
