Departure from RAMBOUILLET
(Train station -SNCF - Paris-Montparnasse/Rambouillet line)

• As you leave the station, turn left and go under the bridge towards the Eveuses cemetery and follow the GR 1, signposted in red and white, until to the “Etang d'Or” (pond). Then take the GR 655 St Jacques de Compostelle, signposted in red and white, going through the “Four à Chaux » (lime oven) and the « Mare aux Sangliers » (wild boar pond); at the water pump, turn left towards Clairefontaine.

• At Clairefontaine, follow the D27 for 200 m towards Rambouillet then turn right on the « Chemin des Sables” to the crossroad in Goursac.

• From that crossroads, take the signposted GR 1, joining the « Etang de la Tour » and cross the D 906 then the D27 to the « Etang d'Or » (pond). Go alongside the pond and go back on the same path towards the station.
