Departure from RAMBOUILLET

(Train station - SNCF - Paris-Montparnasse/Rambouillet line)
• As you leave the station, take the GR 1. Go under the N10, round the cemetery and go towards the « Etang d'Or”. Turn left and follow the North bank of the small lake towards the « Etang de la Tour ».

• Go across the Villeneuve private forest, then after the dyke of the « Etang de la Tour », turn left and go along the east bank (follow the white fleur-de-lis).

• At the intersection with the CD73, after having walked along the left side of the protection wall, turn left twice. When your reach the flood gate of the Pieds-Droits, turn right (there is a sign with directions) and walk up along the water towards the north and follow the signs and the white fleur-de-lis.

• Go past the CD61, to the « Etang du Perray » (pond) and when your reach the end of the dyke, keep going straight to the road of “Pont de Bois”, then turn left (there are road signs).

• After going over the bridge above the rails, turn right, then take the cycle path along the CD910. Go across the small valley with the Vaux-de-Cernay river to the Lartoire crossroads, then turn right towards « Les Essarts-le-Roi” and follow the bridge over the rails.

• Further down on your left, follow the signposted path that goes through the wood. Keep going straight to the « Cinq-Cents Arpents » cycle path. Cross the road, take the trail for 50 m, then turn left and take the Lartoire aqueduct posted path.

• Cross the Auffargis street, go straight, then turn left at the small wooden bridge that goes over the rivulet, turn left twice and go into the Essarts-le-Roi village and go to the train station.
