The castle acquired by Louis XVI in 1783, gradually transformed into a charming residence, it has very beautiful Rococo and Neo-Pompeian style interiors.

Surrounded by formal French gardens, canals, and six islands, the castle today is an official presidential estate, and receives Heads of State invited to France.
 

 

Open daily except Tuesdays and when the president is in residence from 10 am to 12 am and 2 pm to 5 pm (6 pm from 1st April to 30th September). Closed 1st January, 1st May, 1st and 11th November and 25th December

Castle/Queen Dairy/Shell Cottage: over 25: 7€ / reduced rate: 4,50€ / under 26 from EU: free access.
